2006 - 2009

Gibbings Consulting Ltd. was responsible for the planning, design, and construction support of the airfield electrical works under these multi-year civil-electrical airfield rehabilitation projects. The airfield electrical scope of work was as follows:

2009 Airfield Electrical Scope of Work:

  • Completion of Taxiway Edge Lighting, and Taxiway Centreline Lighting
  • Apron Edge Lighting Upgrades

2008 Airfield Electrical Scope of Work:

  • Completion of Re-cabling and Edge Light Modifications on primary Runway
  • Completion of New Inset Centreline Lighting along Runway
  • Taxiway Edge Lighting, Inset Stop Bar, Runway Guard Lights, and Taxiway Centreline Lighting (Partial length of Taxiway)
  • New ODALS Approach Lighting System
  • Flood Lighting and Inset Lighting associated with De-icing Pad Development
  • Installation of new Constant Current Regulators and associated FEC related works

2007 Airfield Electrical Scope of Work:

  • Re-cabling and Edge Light Modifications of approx. 1/2 length of primary Runway
  • Installation of New Inset Centreline Lighting along approx. 1/2 length of Runway
  • Taxiway Edge Lighting, Inset Stop Bar, and Runway Guard Lights
  • Various Apron Edge Lighting Modifications
  • Power Feeder Replacement for Localizer

  • Re-cabling and Edge Light Modifications on secondary Runway
  • Re-cabling and Edge Light Modifications on Connecting Taxiways
  • Power Feeder Replacement for Localizer
